Swarali Atul Joshi is a software developer with a passion for creating intelligent solutions to benefit humanity. With nearly five years of experience in the field, Swarali has worked with a range of technologies, including Java, Javascript, and microservices. Currently working as a Software Engineer II at Cisco, Swarali is responsible for designing and developing Java microservices to facilitate always-on order booking. She has also developed the Workspace UI, an internal tool used to reduce the manual effort involved in resolving support incidents related to the management of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) orders. This tool helped faster resolution of nearly 42% of the incidents during the fiscal year 2019-2020. Swarali has also developed Java microservices to process and consume real-time Revenue Tagging and Reporting (RTR) data for SaaS orders. Prior to her current role, Swarali worked as a Software Engineering Intern in Product Operations, Supply Chain Operations at Cisco. During this time, she developed REST APIs for rule-based assignment of test cases to hardware components. She successfully automated test case assignment for up to 40% of hardware interfaces used in the ASR 9k aggregation router series. She also devised and implemented a proof-of-concept for automated assignment of test cases using classification algorithms. Swarali holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from R. V. College of Engineering, Bangalore. In addition to her professional pursuits, she is also keenly interested in music and books and always up for insightful discussions.
